Information about finding the statues of Christ the King and Copernicus, taken by the Germans, in the Nissa (Nysa) town caused great joy in Warsaw. These statues have been returned to the capital. The citizens of Warsaw greet the figure of Christ the King with flowers and tears as it returns to its old place in front of the św. Krzyż church (Church of the Holy Cross).
